Rental Requirements: 

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.
• Drivers must have a valid boater's license.
  • Temporary licenses can be issued at pickup free of charge (maximum 2 per boat).
  • A link to an online boater's license class will be provided with your booking if needed.
• A valid credit card is required to hold on file for any loss or damages.

Not Included:

• Gasoline:
  • Boats will be filled with gas at the start of the rental. Upon return, tanks will be refilled, and you will be charged for the fuel used.
• Watersport Rentals:
  • Tubes are not included, but available to add to your reservation for an additional cost. 

Optional Add-Ons:

• Overnight Docking ($20/night) (This is necessary if you do not have a dock slip to park your boat overnight during multi-day rentals.)

Deposit Requirements:

• Single-Day Rentals: Full payment is required at the time of reservation. No refunds for any reason - this includes inclement weather or change of plans. 
• Multi-Day Rentals: A 25% deposit is required at the time of reservation, with the remaining balance due at pickup.

Cancellation Policy:

• Multi-Day Rentals:
  • Cancellations are permitted up to 7 days prior to pickup. BMS will refund all of the deposit except for $50.00. If the cancellation is made within 7 days of pickup, the deposit will be forfeited. 
• Single-Day Rentals:
  • Cancellations are not permitted for any reason. NO refunds. Ensure you check the weather forecast before booking.

Modification Policy:

• Modifications to your multi-day reservation are permitted up to 7 days before pickup. A $50.00 fee will be assessed to change your reservation. 
• NO modifications can be made to your multi-day reservation within 7 days of the pickup date. 
• NO modifications can be made to your single day reservation at any time. 

Additional Information:

• PET FRIENDLY
• No alcohol or drugs are permitted while operating rental boats.
• 2 hour and 4 hour rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations permitted. 
• U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment is provided free of charge. This includes life jackets, a throw cushion, and a whistle. 
• Boats returned after the scheduled return time will incur a late fee of $100 per half hour.
• Parking is limited. For single-day or hourly rentals, please limit vehicles to one per boat.
• No refunds are given for inclement weather or change of plans.
• Multi day rentals can be picked up on the morning of the first day of rental and returned in the evening of the last day of the rental. The boat can be docked overnight at the customer's dock and throughout the rental period. 
• If you are renting the boat on the 4th of July, please be aware you CANNOT take the boat to watch fireworks. There are no lights on the boat. 
• The rental season ends on 9/28/25.
